The South Dakota State swimming and diving teams are set to host Omaha and South Dakota this Friday and Saturday at the Stanley J. Marshall Center Pool.
The women will face the Mavericks on Friday at 5 p.m. The Jacks will take on conference rival South Dakota Saturday evening at 5 p.m for senior day.
"This is an excellent opportunity for our teams to get some great competition versus conference opponents," head coach
Doug Humphrey said. "We look to continue to improve on our performances and this as an opportunity to prepare for our conference championships."
SDSU is coming in to the weekend after a 347-253 victory at St. Cloud State.
At SCSU, sophomore diver
Alex Crow qualified for the NCAA Zone Diving Championships with a career-high 323.93 on the 3-meter.
Mitchell Raihle and
Parker Brown also had personal-bests on the 1-meter.
The Jacks won seven of 10 freestyle events with freshmen
Rori Conners and
Jared Miller both winning the 500 and 1000 free.
State claimed first and second in the 100 and 200 breast, 100 and 200 fly on the women's side and the 200 IM for the men.
The last meeting between the Jacks and the Mavericks was Nov. 12, 2016 when SDSU lost at Omaha, 168-132.
