The South Dakota State men's golf team's lone March tournament is also its second home tournament of the season. The Jackrabbits host the 10th-annual Jackrabbit Invitational Thursday and Friday in Boulder Creek, Nevada.

The Jackrabbits, who won the 2015-16 tournament, will host 14 teams at the par-72, 7,402-yard Boulder Creek Golf Club. The front nine will be played on the Coyote Run course and back nine on the Desert Hawk course. Teams will have shotgun starts at 9:15 a.m. each day.

The field includes: Alabama State, Austin Peay, Detroit, James Madison, North Dakota State, SIUE, South Dakota, UC Santa Barbara, Southern Utah, Texas State, Weber State, Western Carolina and Youngstown State. No. 38 UNLV will also have individuals playing.

In its last outing, SDSU tied for 17th at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate in Palm Desert, California, Feb. 22-24. Jacob Otta led the team, tying for 50th.

For the season, Jared Nicolls leads the team with a 73.82 stroke average. Otta (74.24) and Alejandro Perazzo (77.06) both have top-10 finishes.
