Men to Play in Husker Invitational

The South Dakota State men's golf team will compete in the Git-R-Done Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Neb. Saturday.
The event will be 36 holes of play at the par-71, 7,025-yard Firethorn Golf Club. Round one will open at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start before round two at 12:30 p.m. which will be continuous play.
Taking part in the invitational along with the Jackrabbits will be Nebraska, Creighton, Omaha, Drake and Arkansas.
The lineup will consist of Jacob Nicolls, Jacob Otta, Alejandro Perazzo, Jonah Dohrer and Harry Duggan while Sam Batta and Jaxon Lynn will play as individuals.
Nicolls leads the team with a 73.65 stroke average that ranks seventh in the Summit League. Otta is second on the team with a 74.13 average, ranking 14th in the conference.
