The South Dakota State men's golf team is set for match play action at the Sweetens Cove Intercollegiate hosted by Miamai (Ohio) Monday and Tuesday.Â
The Jackrabbits open competition against High Point, then will take on Miami or Murray State, dependent on first-round results. The other side of the bracket features Samford, Belmont, Bowling Green and Western Carolina. Bryson Mercier will compete as the No. 1 golfer for the Jacks for the first time this season. He is joined by Luke Honner, Ty Kretz, Tyler Seeling, Jonah Dohrer and Blake Schaper.Â
The Jackrabbits are coming off a first-place finish at the Jackrabbit Invitational March 8-9 in Boulder City, Nevada. SDSU was paced by medalist honors from Mercier and ninth-place finish from Kretz.Â
