MAGES COLLECTS SUMMIT LEAGUE HONOR

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota State senior McKenzie Mages garnered the final Kwik Star Summit League Peak Golfer of the Week accolade of the fall season, as announced Thursday by the conference office. This is the fourth weekly honor of Mages' career.
Mages opened with back-to-back under-par rounds of 70 (-2) and 71 (-1) before closing with a 74 (+2) to finish with a 215 (-1) total, tying for ninth at The Clash at Boulder Creek. With the top-10 finish, the Sioux Falls, S.D., native moved into a tie for sixth on SDSU's all-time list with 13 career top-10 showings. Mages led the Jacks to a 13th-place team finish in the 54-hole tournament. Mages tallied 11 birdies throughout the tournament and capped it off with an eagle in the final round to close out the fall season.
