ZGONC CAPTURES THIRD PEAK PERFORMER AWARD

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - South Dakota State outside hitter Sylvie Zgonc was named one of the Summit League Volleyball Peak Performers of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday. It is Zgonc's eighth career offensive honor, and third of the season.
Zgonc recorded 19 kills and 13 digs while averaging 6.33 kills per set in the Jackrabbits' opening match of conference play. The Hartford, Wis., native also tallied 19 points and averaged 6.50 points per set in a three-set match against South Dakota.
