BROOKINGS, S.D. – South Dakota State closes out its seven-game homestand as the Jackrabbits continue Summit League play at Fishback Soccer Park. The Jacks host Denver at 6 p.m. on Friday while they return on Sunday at 1 p.m. to take on Omaha.

The Jackrabbits opened conference action with a 0-0 draw versus South Dakota on Sept. 24. The Pioneers sit atop the league standings with a 2-0 record following 2-0 victories last weekend against North Dakota State and North Dakota. The Mavericks are 1-0-1 behind a scoreless tie versus UND and 2-1 win over NDSU.

The Jackrabbits' home unbeaten streak was extended during the regular season to 38 contests in the SD Showdown Series tie with the Coyotes at Fishback. SDSU has four matches at home remaining this season, with its final two against Oral Roberts (Oct. 14) and Kansas City (Oct. 16).

The Jackrabbits closed out their non-conference schedule with home victories over Air Force (Sept. 15) and Kansas State (Sept. 18). The 6-0-4 record through 10 matches this season ranks among the best in program history. In SDSU's 23rd season, only starts to the 2021 and 2019 slates rank better by winning percentage.

The Jackrabbits have produced six clean sheets this season. SDSU has been buoyed by the back row as defenders Rachel Preston (806), Hayley Lindaman (747) and Kaycee Manding (693) lead SDSU in minutes played. The clean sheet total is on pace to top the program record for a season of 15 set in 2019.

SDSU's shutout percentage ranks 24th in Division I soccer this season. The Jackrabbits also rank high in the nation in corner kicks per game with their 7.10 mark at 17th overall. Goalkeepers Hailee Fischer and Jocelyn Tanner have combined for a .878 save percentage which ranks 11th best in the country.

The Jacks hold all-time series leads over Denver and Omaha. SDSU is 7-3-4 against Denver, with its last win a 4-2 triumph over the Pioneers in the 2021 Summit League title game. SDSU is 8-7-4 against the Mavs, which includes last year's double overtime win in The Summit League Tournament semifinals.

Both matches feature event promotions. The Friday contest against Denver is Ted Lasso Night as the first 150 fans through the gates, which open at 5 p.m., will receive a Ted Lasso themed t-shirt. Sunday's game is the annual Hometown Heroes recognition with fans able to take a look at the vehicles First Responders operate on a daily basis.

The Jackrabbits have won six Summit League Tournament Championships (2008, 2014-16, 2019, 2021), six Summit League regular season titles (2008-09, 2011, 2014, 2017-18) and a United Soccer Conference tournament title in 2006.
9: South Dakota State has recorded at least 10 wins in nine consecutive seasons, the longest streak of double-digit wins in the Summit League. The Jacks boast more 10-win seasons (11) than any other league school since 2010 and have amassed at least 10 wins in 13 of the last 14 seasons.
37: Number of consecutive matches the program is unbeaten at Fishback Soccer Park during the regular season. The last defeat on their home turf during the Jackrabbits' regular season schedule was a 2-0 loss to Arizona State on Sept. 10, 2018.
