South Dakota State travels to the Kemper Lakes Intercollegiate, hosted by Belmont and Troon Golf, Monday and Tuesday at Kemper Lakes Golf Club.

COURSE INFORMATION
Kemper Lakes Golf Club is one of the top courses in the Chicago area. It hosted the 1989 PGA Championship, won by Payne Stewart. Other major events there include the 1992 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship, the 2018 KPMG Women's PGA Championship and four PGA Grand Slam of Golf events. The club has also hosted numerous Champions Tour and Korn Ferry Tour tournaments.
This is the first event hosted by the Belmont men's golf program since the fall of 2007. Between 2000 and 2007, the program hosted the Belmont Invitational eight times at three different Nashville courses.
OF NOTE…
- Jake Olson is coming off his second straight top-five finish. He won the individual title at the Wildcat Invitational two weeks ago and tied for fourth at the Badger Invitational.
- SDSU's runner-up finish at Wisconsin was its best team result since winning the Jackrabbits Invitational in March.
- The Jacks were the top finisher among the six Summit League schools at the Badger Invitational.
LAST TIME OUT
SDSU finished second at the Badger Invitational in Madison, Wisconsin, last week. The Jacks shot 281 (-7) in the final round for a 54-hole total of 847 (-17). Southern Miss won the team title at 841 (-23). Three Jackrabbits placed in the top 15.
Olson posted the team's best final round, a 67 (-5), and finished at 209 (-7). Jacob Wilson was sixth at 211 (-5) after a 71 in the last round, and Ty Adkins placed 13th at 214 (-2). Drew Teeter shot 73 (+1) and Caleb Kern shot 75 (+3) in the final round. Charlie Allen competed as an individual and finished at 229 (+13).
